Ever wondered if you could make some of Britain’s most beloved dishes vegan?
A Manchester bar has done just that. The Cosy Club at the Corn Exchange is now serving vegan Fish & Chips.
But how can it be Fish & Chips you say? OK, you’re right. This mouth-watering dish isn’t really fish at all. It’s made with battered tofu, served with minted mushy garden peas and tartare sauce.
That’s not all. As part of the Cosy Club’s new summer menu, plenty of new dishes are on the horizon.
The Beyond Meat Burger, made of a meat-free patty, melted cheese, lettuce, tomato, gherkin, red onion and burger sauce is on offer. Plus, Roast Turmeric Cauliflower with dukkah & tahini cauliflower puree, pomegranate molasses, flaked almonds and harissa oil.
Ready for more? How about Pulled Beef Brisket with Blue Cheese and Ciabatta?
If you’ve still got room for more, the Cosy Club‘s new summer menu also features some delicious desserts for you to try, including a Pimm’s & Strawberry Trifle filled with jelly, custard, strawberry sponge and fresh cream, or the Vegan Berry Cheesecake.
The Cosy Club cocktail menu also includes some refreshing seasonal options, including the tasty White Sangria, the Cosy Colada and the Botanical Bliss, rich with Rose Vodka, elderflower, lime and finished with petals
Amber Wood, Managing Director of Cosy Club, said: “We’ve also adding new vegan options to add to our PETA award winning vegan menu which has gone down a storm.
“Our menu is always responding to the growing trends and demands of our customers and we look forward to everyone trying out these new summer dishes.”
